Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that he would not tolerate corruption in any form in the country.
Addressing a public meeting at Parade grounds, Modi said that family rule and corruption were not different, and that family rule would always try to control the existing systems.
Targeting the K Chandrashekar Rao government ruling the State, Modi alleged that the family rule of KCR, his son and daughter had become a hub of corruption, and that family-based parties were looting even the ration of the poor.
He said that the union government was taking steps to stop corruption in the country, and spoke of how financial assistance was being extended through the DBT scheme in order to prevent siphoning off of funds, and how more and more payments were being made digitally to keep a check on irregularities.
Modi also said that the union government had taken up several rail and road connectivity and health projects in Telangana, but that the projects were being delayed due to the non-cooperation of the State government.
