Woman Alleges Rape By BJP Leader Raghunandan Rao
The woman claimed that when she had gone to the Rao's office to discuss her divorce issue, Rao spiked her coffee to make her unconscious, and then raped her.
A woman today made a sensational allegation against Telangana BJP leader Madhavaneni Raghunandan Rao.
She said that Rao had raped her at his office when she had gone there to seek help.
She lodged a complaint with Cyberabad Commissioner of Police V C Sajjanar on the issue, and urged the latter to take action against the BJP leader.
In her complaint she informed the CP that she had gone to the office of Rao to discuss her divorce issue. She alleged that Rao spiked her coffee to make her unconscious, and then raped her.
She also alleged that Rao was now blackmailing her.
She added that she had already lodged a complaint on the issue with the State Human Rights Commission.
Raghunandan Rao is a lawyer, and an ex-TRS and current BJP leader. He fought the 2014 Assembly elections from the Dubbak constituency of Telangana.
