Several TRS members including Palla Rajeshwar Reddy said that the Telangana government conducted this year's winter session of Assembly successfully.
Addressing a press conference at TRSLP, he said that the session went on largely in a peaceful manner and addressed most issues being faced by the people of Telangana.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao stood as a role model at the national level by conducting the House smoothly, Rajeshwar Reddy claimed. Referring to the Congress and the TDP's brief Assembly boycott, he quipped that the Opposition members ran away from the House instead of putting up worthy arguments. KCR set a record of sorts by replying to each and every issue, he opined. And even though the ruling Party conducted the House as per norms, the Opposition walked out deliberately for mileage he charged.
Reddy took exception to TDP leader A Revanth Reddy for allegedly speaking against the government. He claimed that Revanth Reddy wanted to be in the good books of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
He recalled that the House discussed on all important issues including demonetization, the free double bedroom housing scheme, the SC/ST sub-plan, Muslim Minorities welfare, and more.
The winter session which tried its best to give hopes to people through its schemes and the opposition failed to digest the same he said.
