Hyderabad | 14th September 2020
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today told the Assembly that the government would give jobs to all eligible persons under the compassionate jobs quota in Singereni Collieries.

He made this announcement while replying to a question by the members of the house during Question Hour in the ongoing Assembly session.

Speaking on the occasion, KCR said that the government would also offer these vacancies to those with the best qualifications whenever there were any such vacancies in the company.

He emphasized that posts would not be created, and would need to come up in the natural course.

He also said that the government would initially appoint all eligible persons for such posts as general mazdoors in the company, and that the appointees would be provided training before they were promoted.

Referring to income tax waivers for Singereni employees, he said that the government had already made several requests to the Prime Minister of the country on the issue.
