Government chief whip Gandra Venkatramana Reddy, on Monday, said TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu must clarify why certain TDP leaders met Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi when the latter was in town.
Addressing a press conference at the Congress Legislature Party office, Gandra said that TDP leader Kamalakar was suspended from the party after he met TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao. He asked whether similar action would be taken against Balakrishna as
he had met Modi during his visit to the city on Sunday.
"Else, Naidu should clarify whether he was seeking to forge an alliance with the BJP through Balakrishna and other leaders who met Modi on Sunday," he said.
Gandra also slammed Modi for his remarks against the Congress government during his
speech at the public meeting at L B Stadium on Sunday. (INN)
