The first day of the Assembly sessions in Andhra Pradesh began amid pandemonium today.
Soon after the commencement of the day's session, the TDP MLAs created a ruckus in the House.
They demanded a discussion on the arrest of their party president Chandrababu Naidu, in both the Assembly and the Council.
As a result, both the Houses were adjourned for some time.
After resumption of the session, the TDP members did not change their stand. Assembly Speaker Thammineni Sitaram tried to speak to the TDP MLAs, but when they did not listen, the MLAs were suspended from the House for a day.
Three MLAs of the TDP were suspended by the end of the session. MLAs Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, Anagani Satyaprasad and Payyavula Keshav were among those suspended. Along with the TDP members, MLA Undavalli Sridevi was also suspended.
The Speaker also warned TDP MLA Balakrishna for misbehaving in the House. Standing near the Speaker's podium, Balakrishna broke the traditions of the House by twirling his moustache. The Speaker said that it was wrong to do that, and that such actions should not be repeated again.
