Why Isn't Naidu Named In Revanth Case, Congress Asks
The Telangana Congress said people were starting to doubt CM K Chandrashekar Rao's role in AP CM Chandrababu Naidu not being issued notices in the crime.
Congress senior leader and MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has asked the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) why it had not included the name of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in the Revanth Reddy note-for-vote case.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Ponguleti said that people were starting to doubt Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's role in Chandrababu Naidu not being issued notices in the crime.
He said that there were also doubts that the Centre was influencing the note-for-vote case invetsigation, and made it clear that the ACB had the responsibility of clearing doubts on the role of Chandrababu Naidu.
He said that the Telangana government would become a laughing stock in case the ACB failed to include Naidu's name in the additional charge-sheet.
He also urged the government to name the Skill Development Scheme after Abdul Kalam, the late former President of India. (NSS)
