Whole Of AP Will Be Made IT Hub: IT Minister
AP Information Technology Minister Palle Raghunath Reddy said the TDP would promote several AP cities as IT hubs, and develop all on Hyderabad's lines.
Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Minister Palle Raghunath Reddy on Sunday said that the Telugu Desam Party Government would promote several cities across the residuary State as IT hubs.
Speaking to media persons after assuming charge, Raghunath Reddy said that the IT hubs would all be developed on the lines of Hyderabad.
However, instead of confining the IT activity to one city, it would be developed in multiple cities.
He claimed that it was TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu who had developed Hyderabad as an IT destination. Similarly, Naidu would develop Andhra Pradesh.
He said that the IT giants trusted the leadership skills of Chandrababu Naidu, and would accept his invitation to invest in Andhra Pradesh.
Raghunath Reddy also requested the Telugu NRIs to invest in Andhra Pradesh. He said that the TDP Government would take all measures to resolve the issues concerning NRIs, and a special cell would be set up for the same.
He also promised to resolve the problems of minorities in Andhra Pradesh. He said since no Muslim MLA from the TDP got elected to the Assembly this time, other members would take up the issues of minorities.
He also promised to remove encroachers from lands belonging to the Wakf Board and churches, and to take major steps to promote and preserve Telugu language and culture.
Raghunath Reddy also announced that he would donate his first month's salary for the construction of new capital of Andhra Pradesh. (INN)
