Warangal By-Election: 31 Nominations On Last Day

The nominations will be scrutinized on Thursday, and the actual number of candidates left will be announced after the last date for withdrawals (Nov 7).

As many as 31 nominations were filed today, the last day for filing nominations for the election for the Warangal Lok Sabha seat.

The seat is reserved for SCs.

Election officials said that they would scrutinize the nominations on Thursday, and declare the actual number of candidates left in the fray after the last date for withdrawals (November 7).

The election would be conducted on November 21 and the result would be announced on November 24, they added.
