Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Medak MP Vijayashanti on Monday aired her serious objection against the remarks made by Minister for Labour Danam Nagender and Minister for Marketing Mukesh Goud that they would siege Telangana Bhavan and overrun it if the TRS did not stop disrupting the Rachabanda program.
Talking to media persons, the actress-turned politician stated that the 2 ministers should protect their own bastions since the people of Telangana would overrun them. She added that the identities of the 'betrayers of Telangana' would be lost forever after the formation of Telangana state.
Vijayashanti further pointed out that TRS was boycotting the program only to mount pressure on centre so that it introduced the Telangana bill in the budget session of Parliament.
Accusing the ministers of provoking the people of Telangana, the MP said that the statement by the minister was testing the patience of the region's leaders.
She warned them not to test the patience of Telangana leaders, and instead make efforts to ensure that the Telangana bill was introduced in Parliament.
Earlier, angered by the disruptions to the Racha Banda in the city by TRS activists, the Congress ministers had warned that Telangana Bhavan would be 'no more' in the city if any harm was done to the ministers, MLAs, and MPs who were participating in the program.
