All Promises Made by KCR Are Lies: Vijayashanti

BJP leader and former MP Vijayashanti today lashed out at the Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, claiming that all the promises made by the latter were lies.

Attacking the CM in a social media post, she alleged the CM did not have any commitment to fulfil the many promises he had made to the people of the state.

She also claimed that the misrule of the TRS-led state government was slowly becoming the subject of much criticism and ridicule not only in the state but also in the country.

As an example of the CM's broken promises, she alleged that he had first forced the rice farmers of the state to grown finer qualities of rice, and then abandoned them by not procuring their produce at the MSP.

"The farmers who had cultivated fine quality rice following the advice of the Chief Minister are now being forced to sell the same at a loss simply to recover their investments. Some farmers are even burning their produce because they are not being able to sell the same. The maize farmers of the state are also under great economic duress as the state government has not purchased their crops at the MSP," she said.

"KCR and his government have not been able to fulfil their promise of supplying adequate water for irrigation to the farming community either, despite having made ambitious promises to do so," the BJP leader added.

Vijayashanti also claimed that several of the scores of unemployed youth in Telangana were committing suicides due to the failure of the state government to fulfil its promise of filling up vacant government jobs.
