After calling Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi to the city, the Bharatiya Janata Party's AP unit is now preparing to invite youth leader Varun Gandhi to address a massive rally in Hyderabad.
BJP senior leader Bandaru Dattatreyya informed the media that Varun Gandhi would soon visit the city to address a rally to be organised by the state BJP Yuva Morcha.
He said that the rally would be held in Secunderabad, and added that the venue and date of the rally would be finalised later.
Welcoming nearly 1,000 youth who joined the party on Thursday, Dattatreyya said that the BJP would focus on enrolling youth in the age group of 18-22 years. He hoped that the entry of young people into the BJP would ensure its victory in the next elections. He added that people are fed up with the misrule of the Congress, which, he said, has been misleading people on all fronts.
Former MLA Dr. K Lakshman, Greater Hyderabad BJP president B Venkat Reddy and other leaders were also present. (INN)
