The Bajrang Dal, the youth wing of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is getting all set for action on Valentine's Day, the annual "holiday" that always sends right wing groups in the country into convulsions of moral policing in a bid to protect Indian culture.
Bajrang Dal activists staged a rasta roko at Paradise circle, where they burnt an effigy representing the occasion, and destroyed greeting cards and posters related to Valentine's Day, filling the air with slogans of Vande Mataram.
They have also warned adults not to send their children out on the 14th of February - they have threatened to get youngsters on roads married and send them home.
YOU ARE AGAINST VALENTINES DAY STATING THAT IT IS A FOREIGN CULTURE. HAVE YOU SEEN RECENT POSTINGS WHEN YOU OPEN REDIFFMAIL - YOU SEE FREIDA PINTO GETTING KISSED AND FUCKED. ANOTHER ONE EMRAN HASHIMI KISSING LESSONS TO ESHA. I QUESTION YOU WHAT AND WHERE FROM THIS CULTURE HAS COME. DOES THESE SCENES WILL NOT SPOIL THE YOUNGER GENERATION OF INDIA. ARE YOU SEEING THESE VIDEOS? AND YOU ARE KEEPING QUIET.
