Vaikuntha Ekadasi: Huge Rush At TTD Temples In City
More than 50,000 devotees visited the two TTD temples in Hyderabad, and vehicular traffic in the surrounding streets needed to be diverted due to the heavy rush.
The managements of the Sri Venkateswara TTD temples at Himayat Nagar and Jubilee Hills made all the necessary arrangements to handle the huge inflow of devotees on the occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadasi today.
More than 50,000 devotees visited the two temples in Hyderabad. Vehicular traffic in the surrounding streets needed to be diverted due to the heavy rush at the temples.
The devotees were excited as the Uttaradwara Darshan for commoners on Vaikuntha Ekadasi commenced at 4 am itself. Chanting of "Govinda, Govinda" by the devotees reverberated the temple precincts, and there was appreciation for the arrangements made by the TTD officials for the queue lines and for ensuring hassle-free darshan to thousands of devotees.
Kaleru Venkatesh, Amberpet MLA, and former legislators were among the people visiting the temples.
