The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of the Mala Sangham today alleged that State Minister Sridhar Babu was a staunch follower of Manu's ideology and that he deliberately excluded local Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamshi Krishna from the Saraswathi Pushkaralu event. Claiming that the minister harboured a discriminatory attitude toward dalits, it demanded the immediate dismissal of Babu from the State Cabinet.
Addressing the media, Mala Mahanadu National President and Mala Sangham JAC Chairman G Chennayya accused Babu of having a selfish mindset. He also warned that if the State government failed to respond to the demand, the JAC would intensify its agitation across Telangana.
