While stating that he was indeed being meted out injustice in the Congress, a charge made first by Danam Nagender earlier today, Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao however vowed that he would not leave the party at any cost.
He said that he was in the party since the beginning of his political career, and would continue in it till his last breath.
Upholding the statement of Nagender that senior leaders like him (VHR) didn't get justice in the party, VHR said, "We however have to overcome the upper caste domination, and not run away. We have to raise it in the various party fora if injustice is meted out to the BC leaders of the party. I have always pulled up the leadership if anything wrong happened, and I will be the same even in the future."
Speaking on Danam's
resignation from the party, he said, "Danam may have had his reasons to leave the party, and that is his wish. The rest of us will continue to be in the party and bring it to power in the 2019 elections."
