Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, on Monday, met Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna and requested him to intensify rescue and relief operations in the flood-hit areas.
It may be mentioned that Naidu
directly went to see flood-hit areas of Uttarakhand on Sunday.
Earlier, he had also visited the AP Bhavan and had interacted with the pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh who had already been rescued from the affected areas.
Meanwhile, TDP has arranged a special flight to bring back 190 pilgrims who were stranded in Uttarakhand. Arrangements have also been made to send the passengers to their native places from Hyderabad.
Similar flights are also being proposed to be run on Tuesday and Wednesday. (INN)
