Picture this - it's a bad day in Gotham. The Joker has gotten together with some of his loontown buddies from Arkham asylum, and has wrecked havoc on the streets. In the Wayne Manor, Batman has donned his Batsuit, and is ready to crash the Joker's party in his Batmobile. But then, Superman barges in. He's got his cape in place, and the signature lock of hair curling on his forehead, and is ready to err... prod some backsides. But, Batman disagrees. He wants his picture on the front page of Gotham Gazette, and so help him, he is NOT going to share the space with the prissy, ridiculously photogenic Kryptonian! And the two fight. And get pissed off with each other. And fight some more.
There, that's the whole story about the clash that recently occurred between members of the TDP and the Congress as both tried to play good samaritans to the pilgrims caught up in the Uttarakhand floods. Both the parties had chartered planes in order to rescue AP pilgrims trapped in Uttarakhand.
Sources have reported that the Congress had arranged for a Jet Airways Boeing 737 to take 167 pilgrims back to Hyderabad, and that the TDP had also booked a Boeing 737, which had a seating capacity of 190. After the pilgrims were rescued and were making their way towards the TDP aircraft, the Congress MPs asked the security personnel to escort the pilgrims to Congress' plane, instead.
The TDP MLAs refused to let go of the spotlight, and thus, began a despicable fight over which party would actually do some good. Now, THAT has to be a first. It was reported that Congress MP Hanumanth Rao and TDP MLA Ramesh Rathod shouted at and shoved each other, without paying any heed to the fact that their (dare we call these "childish"?) antics were being recorded on camera.
