Union minister K Chiranjeevi faced the heat of united Andhra Pradesh activists when they tried to block his convoy in Kambalacheruvu of East Godavari district near Kakinada on Sunday.
The Samaikyandhra activists raised slogans against the minister, accusing him of being a mute spectator to the process of the division of Andhra Pradesh. The angry protests demanded his immediate resignation from his posts. They also confronted the police personnel who tried to prevent them from going close to the minister's car.
Police used mild force to disperse the protestors, and cleared way for the minister's convoy. (INN)
