Chiranjeevi Questions Government

"The farmers who have been hoping for relief from the government have been dissapointed yet again" says Praja Rajyam president Chiranjeevi, who has been touring rain-hit areas in Guntur district, and communicating with the farmers there.

Chiranjeevi has questioned the rationale behind the government lifting the police cases on non-student Telangana agitators.

"I support the government's decision to lift cases on Telangana student agitators, as their futures are at stake. But I don't understand why the government has let non-student agitators walk away as well," he said. How can the government lift cases on the agitators of different backgrounds without weighing the pros and cons, he asked.
