Congress senior leader and former Union minister S Jaipal Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's TRS Party would meet its Waterloo in the Warangal parliamentary by-election like Prime Minister Narendra Modi's BJP faced defeat in the recent Bihar Assembly elections.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, Reddy lashed out at KCR's functioning, saying that the State would suffer and lose heavily due to the TRS government's "unilateral and despotic decisions".
He strongly felt that the ruling Party would taste humiliating defeat in Warangal, as the people were not happy with KCR's rule.
Meanwhile, the TPCC is planning to invite national Party leaders to participate in the electioneering in Warangal. AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh, Lok Sabha former Speaker Meira Kumar and others will take part in the election campaigning at Bhoopalapally on November 15. And former Union Home Minister Susheel Kumar Shinde will address an election meeting at Wardhannapet on November 16, followed by Union minister Sachin Pilot who will campaign at Station Ghanpur on November 17.
