The Telangana Rashtra Samithi, on Monday, demanded that TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu clarify the purpose of his
visit to New Delhi.
Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad, former MP B Vinod alleged that Naidu's visit to New Delhi over the Telangana issue raises suspicions that he is trying to obstruct the formation of Telangana again.
He also slammed the TDP chief for writing a letter to Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on the state's bifurcation. He sought to know whether the TDP stands by its letter that it had earlier given to the Centre favouring the formation of a separate Telangana.
Vinod asked Seemandhra leaders to cooperate in the formation of a Telangana state. "Else, they will have to face the wrath of the people of Telangana," he said.
He said that conspiracies against the formation of Telangana would not be tolerated any more, and asked people to be vigilant against the "betrayers" of the region. (INN)
