TRS-MIM Alliance Making City Terrorist Haven: BJP
The BJP accused KCR of repeatedly siding with the Muslim community at the cost of the safety of the State.

In the wake of the arrests of three persons in Hyderabad and a woman in Wardha in Maharashtra by the NIA on April 20, Telangana BJP leader and former MLA G Kishan Reddy today appealed to the State government to "wake up from its deep slumber" and act decisively to weed out all the terror modules from the State.
The BJP leader said that it had been proven clearly once again that certain youth of Hyderabad and some specific areas in Telangana are the targets of international terror groups, particularly the ISIS. However, it was unfortunate that State government, despite prior inputs from the intelligence agencies, had not been able to understand the gravity of the situation and act accordingly.
"The BJP has every reason to construe that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is buckling under pressure from the MIM and hasn't been doing anything to pre-empt the moves of the international terror organizations. For many years, a Hyderabad connection has been a constant factor in all major terror incidents across the globe and many parts of the country. Under the circumstances, any government which has concern for the safety and security of its citizens is expected to be more vigilant, but the numbness of the KCR government with respect to initiatives towards fighting terror modules has been baffling," Reddy said.
"KCR is in general against anything against people of the community that the MIM represents. When the BJP proposed an NRC at the national level, KCR had stated it was meant to isolate people from that community. It is condemnable that a move meant for security of the nation was viewed through a religious prism. The BJP has also been pointing out that Rohingya Muslim camps have become havens for anti-national activity, but KCR's government never bothers. And the BJP has also been demanding that all those who are living illegally in Telangana must be identified and deported, but KCR turns a deaf ear," Reddy added.
In the wake of the incidents that unfolded on Saturday and in appreciation of the fact that Hyderabad and Telangana were turning safe havens for people with propensities for terror, the BJP leader appealed to the TRS government to act firmly against all those who were abetting terror directly or indirectly.
Separately, BJP State president Dr K Laxman said anti-incumbency against the TRS government was increasing, and that the people of the State were not considering the TRS a regional party but only a family party.
Addressing a meeting in Mahbubnagar district, Laxman added that the BJP was the only alternative for the TRS in Telangana given that the TDP had disappeared from the State and the Congress too was on the verge of extinction here. He alleged that the "careless" attitude of the Congress leadership had forced its senior leaders like D K Aruna and Vijaya Rama Rao to join the BJP in the State. He also alleged that the Congress MLAs were defecting to the TRS to protect their own interests at the cost of the mandate given by the people of the State.
