Nizamabad MP and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's daughter K Kavitha said that she would cast her vote for the BJP if that Party's leaders fetched a Rs 20,000-crore package for the State.
Addressing a Party activists' meeting at Banjara Hills in the Khairatabad Assembly constituency on Monday, Kavitha threw a challenge to union minister Bandaru Dattatreya and Telangana State BJP president G Kishan Reddy to get a Rs 20,000-crore package for the State to prove their closeness to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"I will cast my vote for the BJP candidate if their leaders bring that package," she said.
Stating that there were more poor people in the Khairatabad constituency, Kavitha assured them that the TRS government would regularize their house sites in the constituency.
She also criticized TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu indirectly alleging that the latter had constructed the Hi-Tech City but had forgotten the construction of a drainage system.
