Telangana Political JAC chairman M Kodandaram today questioned Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on the status of the assurance of allocating 40% funds from the State budget to the village panchayats he had given to the people during the Assembly elections.
Speaking to the media in Kohir village of the Sangareddy district on Sunday, Kodandaram said that the TRS government was falling back on its promises.
He demanded that the State government immediately allocate funds to gram panchayats as per the 73rd and 74th Constitutional amendments.
