TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that the TRS government had failed to fulfill even a single assurance it had made though it had come to power 17 months ago.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday after handing over the B-Form to the Warangal by-election Congress candidate Sircilla Rajaiah, Reddy said that the TRS government had deceived the people of the Warangal district and demoralized the farmers in a big way.
He also pointed out that the cotton farmers were not getting any minimum support price and there was no procurement of cotton.
"The government was resorting to lathi-charges if anybody questioned it. The government also got Maoist Shruthi killed in a fake encounter. The TRS has deceived the youth by not providing the promised jobs and farmers by not implementing the promised crop loan waiver," he said.
He also alleged that there was no address to the Kaloji Health University in Warangal and that works on the Prof Jayashankar Memorial Park had not yet started.
Stating that not a single section was happy with the TRS and the BJP governments, Reddy said that the people were ready to teach a fitting lesson to these governments.
He exuded confidence that the Congress candidate would win the election by a margin of over one lakh votes.
The candidate Sircilla Rajaiah said that he had worked hard and fought for a separate Telangana to fulfil the aspirations of the Telangana people, and strived for the passage of the Telangana Bill in Parliament.
He said the Congress had realized the dream of the Telangana people for their own State, but that the TRS was not developing Telangana after coming to power.
Asking the people to note the differences between the TRS and the Congress, he urged them to ensure his victory to give a gift to AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi.
