The TS-JAC and the OU-JAC have announced their full support for the Telangana Congress in the Warangal Lok Sabha by-election.
Speaking to mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan after meeting Telangana PCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Sunday, the representatives of the TS-JAC and the OU-JAC said that they would canvass for the Congress candidate Sircilla Rajaiah in all the seven Assembly constituencies in the Parliamentary constituency.
They also said that they would teach a fitting lesson to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who had insulted the students and unemployed youth by dubbing them as "immature".
They said that they would expose the Chief Minister for his failure to release Rs 7 crores towards the mess arrears of the Osmania University, for not filling 1.54 lakh vacant jobs and for not releasing scholarships as promised in the election campaign.
They also alleged that the TRS government had neglected universities and was not providing infrastructure, filling vacant posts or appointing vice-chancellors.
Accusing the KCR government of enforcing a police rule in the State and encouraging fake encounters, they said that they would appeal to the people to defeat the TRS candidate by a huge margin.
Koturi Manavatha Roy, Chamakura Sridhar Goud, Konda Edukondalu, B Kiran Kumar, K Ganesh, P Sukhender, A Munna, Kiran Yadav, Salman Babu and others were present.
