The Telangana Rashtra Samithi, on Saturday, accused the state government of trying to stop the Chalo Assembly rally proposed to be held on June 14.
Talking to reporters after unveiling the "Chalo Assembly" student-wing poster at the Telangana Bhavan, TRS floor leader Etela Rajender said that the government machinery was making all efforts to sabotage the "Chalo Assembly" rally at the insistence of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy. He alleged that pro-Telangana leaders across the region were being harassed by the police, and that the vehicles which had been engaged for the programme were being stopped.
Terming the Chief Minister as a 'dictator', Rajender said that the "Chalo Assembly" program will be a grand success despite the hurdles being created by the Congress government. (INN)
