TJAC To Go On 24-Hr Bus Yatra

Telangana Political Joint Action Committee is organising a 24-hour "bus yatra" today that will start at Gun Park here in Hyderabad and end at Alampur in Mahbubnagar district.

The aim of this yatra, said TJAC chairman Kodandaram, is to mobilise the villagers living in the interiors of the Telangana district and to convince them to participate in the "Sadak Bandh" the TJAC has called for on the 24th of this month.

Adressing the press at Gun Park, Kodandaram said, "All parties are welcome to join us. The government needs a wake-up call. 9 young men and women have sacrificed their lives in the recent times for the cause of statehood for Telangana. I request the people to participate and cooperate with us."
