Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Vigilance officials on Monday nabbed 2 persons for selling laddu tokens in black, and seized 108 tokens from them, besides Rs. 2,000 in cash.
According to TTD authorities, the 2 were handed over to the One Town police station for further action.
The Vigilance officials had
nabbed a 9-member gang last Monday, for the same offence. The long wait for devotees to buy the famous laddus has led to all the black-marketing.
The TTD authorities were tipped off by devotees of the duo selling the laddu token at a higher rate than fixed by them.
Authorities have been directed by Chief Minister K Rosaiah to be more vigilant over the irregularities in the functioning of the temple.
