Those Behind Morphed Videos Of Amit Shah Will Not Be Spared: Modi
PM Narendra Modi has taken a serious view of Congress leaders allegedly uploading a fake video making it look like Amit Shah was announcing that reservations would be cancelled.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reportedly taken a serious view of Congress leaders allegedly uploading morphed videos making it look like BJP leaders including Amit Shah were announcing that reservations would be cancelled if the BJP came back to power.
Several people received summons in the case, including Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy who was summoned by the Delhi Police for allegedly releasing the morphed video.
Speaking at a public meeting organised by the BJP in Sangareddy district today, Modi, reacting to the morphed video showing Amit Shah, castigated the Congress accusing it of trying to create panic among the people by spreading canards that the BJP would end reservations for SCs, STs and OBCs if it came to power for the third time.
The PM said that there was no question of letting go of those who had released the fake videos. He said that the Congress was trying to mislead the people on various issues by posting morphed videos like that saying that the BJP would remove reservations and change the Constitution, as the party started realising that its candidates would not even get their deposits in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
