The TSPDCL launched a unique program, Currentolla Praja Baata, as part of which its staff will visit the field thrice each week to address consumer feedback.
The Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL) today launched a unique program, "Currentolla Praja Baata", across its operational districts - Nalgonda, Medak, Mahabubnagar, Ranga Reddy, and the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
The program was formally inaugurated at Parigi by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka during a public meeting.
As part of the program, officials and staff - from the CMD to the artisan level - will visit the field every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday to inspect the power network and to directly interact with consumers to collect feedback and address complaints.
On the occasion, Chairman and Managing Director Musharraf Faruqui said that around 9,500 employees, including Directors, Chief Engineers (CEs), Superintending Engineers (SEs), Divisional Engineers (DEs), Assistant Divisional Engineers (ADEs), Assistant Engineers (AEs), Line Inspectors and Linemen, were participating in the program, and that they would personally interact with consumers, gather suggestions and feedback, and prioritise the resolution of complaints.
As per reports, officials will also inspect thousands of kilometres of LT/11 kV/33 kV lines, distribution transformers, AB switches and other electrical equipment, ensuring that identified issues are rectified promptly.
Faruqui said that the initiative would significantly enhance the quality and reliability of the power supply while reducing consumer complaints, strengthening the network, and minimising power losses across the TGSPDCL jurisdiction.
