Mercury Soars To 44 Degrees

The highest temperature of 44 degrees was recorded at Rentichinthala in AP.

The heat wave prevailed in the state, with temperatures hovering around 44 degrees in some places.

The highest temperature of 44 degrees was recorded at Rentichinthala, followed by Nizamabad (43), Hanakonda, Medak and Ramagundam (42 each).

Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda and Hyderabad recorded a temperature of 41 degrees.

Kavali in Nellore district was hot at 40 degrees, and the steel city of Visakhapatnam was relatively the coolest, at 33 degrees. (INN)
