Intermediate Colleges Warned About Selling Practicals Marks
The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education said college managements collecting money for marks in the upcoming practical examinations would be heavily penalized.
The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has said it was receiving written complaints, phone calls and emails from the students and their parents that some college managements were collecting huge amounts to give good marks to students in the upcoming Intermediate practical examinations commencing from February 1.
The TSBIE warned the erring managements and principals that stringent action would be initiated against them if they indulged in such practices.
It also appealed to the students and their parents not to pay any amount for such purposes to any college principals/managements. If any college demanded money, the students / parents have been advised to contact the concerned District Intermediate Education Officer and lodge a complaint. They can also complain to the Board's help desk by calling 040-246001100.
