Inter Board Raids 41 Colleges For Summer Classes
The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education today raided 41 private colleges and took serious action on them for violating the norms prescribed by it.

The BIE officials sent the students out of the colleges, issued notices to the managements and locked the colleges, according to Board Secretary Ashok.
The BIE pressed in 27 teams of officials to make the surprise raids on the colleges on Tuesday for conducting classes and admissions despite serious warnings by the Board forbidding those.
The colleges raided include 15 in Medchal district by DEO Prabhakar, 19 in Hyderabad district by Inter Education Officer Jayaprada, and seven in Ranga Reddy by that district's Intermediate Education Officer Venkya Naik.
The Board conducted the raids on receiving information that the colleges were misguiding parents to admit their children though no notification was had been released yet, Ashok said.
The BIE secretary expressed his displeasure at the colleges for such a blase attitude toward its norms, and warned of serious consequences.
