The State government on Saturday issued a circular proposing 13 new revenue mandals in Telangana.
The proposed new revenue mandals are:
Gundumal and Kothapalle in Narayanpet district Dudyal in Vikarabad Koukuntla in Mahabubnagar Aaluru and Donkeshwar in Nizamabad Seerol in Mahabubabad Gattuppal in Nalgonda Nizampet in Sangareddy Endapally and Bheemaram in Jagtial Dongli in Kamareddy Saloora mandal in Bodhan revenue division
The new mandals are proposed to be created on the advice of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who is said to have decided on them after understanding the people's desires and as part of administrative reforms.
Towards this end, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar released the orders concerning the new mandals.
With these new mandals, there will be 607 mandals in the State.
The GO said that objections and proposals were invited for 15 days from the date of notification on the proposed new mandals from the people residing in the respective areas, and that people with objections or suggestions could approach the respective district Collectors.
The State government, after taking all grievances and suggestions into consideration, will issue a final notification constituting the finalized new revenue mandals.
