TDP Flays TRS For Reducing Security To Its Leaders
The TDP strongly criticized the decision of the TRS government to reduce the security for its Party president L Ramana and floor leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao.
The Telangana TDP today strongly criticized the decision of the TRS government to reduce the security cover for its State Party president L Ramana and Party floor leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao.
Even as the by-election for the Warangal parliamentary seat is nearing, the State government issued a GO reducing the security for the duo as the security review committee had recommended withdrawal of armed escorts to these two leaders.
Reacting to the state government's decision, TDP senior leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy alleged that the State government was providing security to local "galli" leaders but was reducing escorts to senior TDP leaders.
What was the need of reducing the security to the TDP's Telangana leaders who were getting the security cover for the last 20 years, Errabelli questioned.
The TDP has decided to write a letter to DGP in this regard.
