Hyderabad | 2nd May 2017
Irate at the comments of AICC General Secretary Digvijaya Singh against the Telangana police that the latter was encouraging ISIS modules by running a fake website, Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy said that the state government had filed a complaint with the police for action against the former.

Speaking to the media today, Reddy condemned the AICC leader for making "atrocious comments without any responsibility".

"Digvijaya Singh has spoken like a mentally deranged person, and we are taking legal action against the Congress senior leader for his belittling comments on our police," Reddy said. "An MLA of ours has already filed a complaint against him with the state police. It is unbecoming of a former union minister and CM to make such remarks against our police, who are working efficiently and are an ideal for other states."

Reddy demanded that the Congress leader withdraw his remarks and tender an unconditional apology.

TRS legislator Magunta Gopinath Reddy had already filed a complaint against the Congress leader in this regard with the Jubilee Hills police station.
