Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders on Sunday sought the intervention of president of India Pranab Mukherjee, to ensure that there is no delay in the formation of the Telangana state.
Nagarkurnool MP Manda Jagannadham and former minister G Vinod called on the President in Hyderabad, and requested him to take measures to avoid delays in the Andhra Pradesh State Reorganisation Bill, 2013.
The President reportedly told them thar the process of Telangana formation has been going on as per constitutional norms. Further, he said he could not speak about the subject as he had already sent the Bill to the state Legislative Assembly for its views within a set time-frame. (INN)
