TRS Won't Work With TJAC: KCR
Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has reportedly declared that he will no longer work alongside the Telangana Joint Action Committee.
Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President K Chandrasekhar Rao has reportedly declared that he will no longer work alongside the Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC).
The TRS chief arrived at this decision after TJAC Chairman M Kodandaram announced that he was willing to draw the Telangana leaders belonging to political parties other than the TRS into the folds of the TJAC. He had also reportedly stated that he was willing to work with Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy.
The partnership between Kodandaram and KCR soured after the latter's request to mobilise students for a recently-conducted TRS program did not receive a positive response from the former.
KCR is reportedly miffed with Kodandaram accepting to work with members belonging to different parties, possibly because this would result in leaders other than himself grabbing the lime-light in the Telangana region.
Kodandaram had earlier refused to participate in the Telangana Nagara hosted by Nagam Janardhan Reddy in Nagarkurnool as KCR had forbidden him and the rest of the TJAC from attending the event.
Meanwhile, Nagam and other TDP leaders continued to call out to Telangana leaders belonging to all parties to come together to fight for the statehood.
