Kodandaram Says T-Package's Not Acceptable

Telangana Political Joint Action Committee chairman Prof M Kodandaram, on Sunday, ruled out the possibility of accepting the Telangana package that was being planned by the Centre.

Talking to reporters after the TPJAC had held a meeting with Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao at the latter's residence, Kodandaram dubbed the proposed economic package for the region as "alms" and said that the people in the region would never accept it.

He said that nothing, except the formation of a separate Telangana state, would be acceptable to the people. (INN)
