With the coronavirus cases in the state increasing each day and crossing the 6,000 mark now, the Telangana government today issued new guidelines to all departments that only 50% of employees may attend work at any time, following the rotation method.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao instructed the officials to ensure that the new guidelines are followed starting immediately.
The guidelines state that only 50% of employees may attend work at any time.
Those who have separate chambers and offices should however come every day - the others to attend as per the new guidelines.
Pregnant employees and others with any diseases should stay home?and not attend to duties.
Visitors are not to be allowed into offices without permission from top officials.
Fourth class employees of the BRKR Bhavan have to attend duties on alternative weeks.
499 new positive Covid cases came to light yesterday in the state, and the overall cases crossed the 6,500 mark, resulting in the government turning much more cautious.
