On Wednesday, Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar accused the Seemandhra ministers of trying to confuse the Congress High Command over the Telangana issue.
Talking to reporters at the Congress Legislature Party office, Ponnam said that the Seemandhra leaders were aware that the High Command had completed the deliberations on the statehood issue and now only a decision was pending.
Therefore, he alleged, the Seemandhra leaders were trying to sabotage the entire process as they had previously done after the Centre had announced Telangana formation on December 9, 2009.
Ponnam said that there was no harm in leaders holding their meetings, but targeting those meetings against Telangana and the region's people was wrong. (INN)
