PCC general secretary G Niranjan asked the Congress High Command to take strict disciplinary action against the Seemandhra leaders who recently took a stand against the Congress Working Committee's decision on the Telangana issue.
Talking to reporters at Gandhi Bhavan on Wednesday, Niranjan said that certain Seemandhra leaders had crossed all limits while opposing the decision on the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Further, he said that some leaders had tried to create obstacles to prevent the Congress-led UPA government from implementing its decision of the formation of a Telangana state.
He said that the Congress High Command should take a serious view of such moves, and initiate immediate disciplinary action against all such leaders. (INN)
