MLA Get Stuck In Lift At Hospital

Secunderabad Cantonment MLA Lasya Nandita, of the BRS, got stuck in the lift of a private hospital in New Boinapally in Hyderabad.

Secunderabad Cantonment MLA Lasya Nandita, of the BRS, got stuck in the lift of a private hospital in New Boinapally in the city today.

Nandita had gone to attend the anniversary of the hospital. She entered the lift to go to the third floor of the hospital. Several others boarded the lift along with her, reportedly taking the load beyond the capacity of the left.

Due to a resulting technical fault, the lift doors got locked and the lift descended into the cellar. The MLA was stuck in the lift for 15 minutes.

There was a flurry of activity in the hospital for a while, and the hospital staff extricated the MLA by breaking open the lift doors.
