The heir apparent saw greetings worth his stature pour in from all quarters on his birthday today.
Municipal Administration and IT Minister K T Rama Rao today turned 42, and received greetings from ministers, MPs, MLAs and other noted personalities, a good part of them om Twitter.
Diplomats including Katherine Hadda (U S Consul General, Hyderabad), Andrew Fleming (British Deputy High Commissioner to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh) and Daniel Carmon (Israel's ambassador to India), politicians including former J&K CM Omar Abdullah, Goa IT Minister Rohan Khaunte, AP IT Minister Lokesh Nara, Telangana MPs Kavitha Kalvakuntla, Balka Suman and B B Patil, Telangana ministers Harish Rao, Jupally Krishna Rao and Padma Rao, opposition leader Uttam Kumar Reddy, GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and GHMC Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin also wished KTR.
A lot of celebrities from the film fraternity too extended greetings, including actors Vivek Oberoi, Mahesh Babu, Nani, Ram Charan Tej, Manchu Vishnu, Vennela Kishore and Brahmaji, and directors Vamsi Paidipally, Meher Ramesh, Kona Venkat, Harish Shankar and Gopichand Malineni.
Responding to the greetings from various quarters, the minister tweeted that he could not reply to everyone personally as he was down with fever since Sunday.
At the party headquarters Telangana Bhavan, Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali, Home Minister N Narasimha Reddy, Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy, Mayor B Rammohan and others participated in a celebration. They cut a cake to mark the occasion and distributed it among the assembled leaders and activists. The ministers also planted saplings at the premises, and a blood donation camp was also conducted on the occasion.
At Kukatpally, Minister Mahender Reddy participated in the Haritha Haram program along with MLA Shambhipur Raju and others to mark the occasion. Raju started a drive to plant 15,000 saplings to mark KTR's birthday.
