KCR Announces Recruitment For 80,039 Government Jobs
Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao today announced a huge recruitment drive to fill about 80,039 government job posts in various departments in the state.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today announced a huge recruitment drive to fill about 80,039 of the 91,142 vacant government job posts in various departments in the state.
He also declared in the Assembly that all the 11,103 contract and outsourcing staff jobs in the state would be regularized.
The government will have to bear additional expenditure of Rs 7,300 crore a year due to the exercise, he said.
Speaking as soon as the Assembly convened for the second day of the budget session, the CM made the announcement of the recruitment drive, and said that the related notifications would be released today itself.
The announcement for the big recruitment drive by the Chief Minister came amid feverish expectations by the job seekers and youths of the state after he gave out a teaser yesterday.
The Chief Minister also said that there would be 10 years of age relaxation during the recruitment, with the cut-off being 44 years for OCs, 49 for SCs/STs/OBCs, and 54 for the physically handicapped. He also said that 95% of the posts would be reserved for the locals.
