Hyderabad | 9th March 2022
Following Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's announcement that his government was going to start giving employment notifications from Wednesday and would bring about radical changes in the filling of government jobs, the ruling TRS leaders, party activists and student union leaders exploded into revelry by bursting crackers and distributing sweets all over the state.
At the TRS state office Telangana Bhavan, the celebrations kicked off under the leadership of Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagendar. Nagendar danced to drumbeats and slogans, and KCR admirers, party activists and the general public took part in the celebrations.
Speaking on the occasion, Nagendar said that March 9, 2022, would remain an unforgettable day in Telangana's history. He pointed out that the Congress and BJP leaders habitually provoked the unemployed youth against the CM, and were all now proven wrong.
On the Osmania University campus, students revelled over the CM's announcement. At the Arts College, excited students burst crackers and distributed sweets. They also performed a "palabhishekam" to portraits of KCR.
The same was the case near the Assembly. Since the morning, leaders of students unions anxiously waited near the Assembly premises for the promised sweet news from the Chief Minister. They had even erected an LED screen on the Assembly premises to hear the news, but the police removed it fearing protests in the event of any disappointing news. However, the police relented after heated arguments and allowed it. When the news about the notifications and age limit extension was announced, the tense atmosphere turned raucous with TRS activists, the student unions' leaders and unemployed youth bursting into celebrations. The revellers here too burst crackers, distributed sweets and raised "KCR Zindabad" slogans.
There were similar celebrations all across the state. Over-excited people performed "palabhishekams" to portraits of KCR in many district headquarterss, towns and villages.
