Telangana Political Joint Action Committee Chairman M Kodandaram, on Saturday, called upon pro-Telangana activists to not allow any political leaders into the Telangana region until their parties make their stand on separate statehood clear.
Addressing a JAC meeting at Karthika Gardens in Lalapet, Kodandaram exhorted JAC leaders to intensify their agitation with a concrete strategy and organized methods from the end of April.
He asked the activists not to allow leaders, irrespective of their party affiliation, into Telangana districts until they state their stand on the state's bifurcation.
"The Telangana issue will not be solved until parties do not clarify their stand on the issue," he said.
Kodandaram contended that the Centre was delaying a decision on the Telangana issue due to a lack of clarity from the parties on the subject. He asked activists to go ahead with an organised campaign on the issue.
"The Centre will understand the severity of the agitation and announce its decision on the statehood after the April agitation," he stated.
Hailing the BJP's Telangana Poru Yatra launched by its state-unit president G Kishan Reddy, he said the yatra has received overwhelming response in the all districts. He also called upon JAC leaders to ensure the success of the convention to be organized on 11 Feb at Nizam College Grounds in the city.
Earlier, Kodandaram released a diary of Telangana employees at Sundariah Kalakshetram at Baghlingampally. (INN)
