Telangana MPs on Wednesday called off their indefinite fast, after staging a sit-in at the Parliament for 48 hours.

They were demanding the government table a Bill seeking a separate Telangana.

They called off their fast at 11am on Wednesday, after doctors conducted medical tests on them.

The MPs, after calling off the fast, demanded that the government should introduce the Bill in the ensuing session of the Parliament. (INN)
